Journey

Vision: Your vision seems to have been to make a pony in the midst of a long journey, and you have done just that. Even though the character has no expression, the color palette and background help convey the mood very nicely.

Originality: The color palette nor the pony going on a journey are very original. Though they are not ordinarily done together (unless it takes place in space or in the sea, green tends to be the primary color used in pieces depicting a journey). Also, this serene, traveling on their own mood that you gave is rarely seen in a piece depicting a journey.

Technique: Your technique was done very well, but there are a couple of things that need work. Some of the proportions on the pony - most notably the head being a bit small - need some tweaking. But, overall, your pony is very nicely done. The, what I assume to be trees, don't look very tree like. Even if you wanted all of the trees to be dead, there should be a few empty branches near the tops. If you want them to be some type of palm tree, there should be some foliage on the ground around the trees. However, while this is a flat piece you did an excellent job of making it feel three dimensional with the trees going back in space.

Impact: It's a very quite piece, so it doesn't have a super strong impact. However, it really drew me in and is very calming to the viewer. It has an impact, but it's a calm and quiet one. However, I think it could potentially blend in and cause people who aren't paying attention to scroll past it.

Overall, this is a very well done piece that presents a very serene mood. It is simple, but elegant. Keep up the great work ^^
